This sale is for a Titus Tuning Fork Electronic F300Hz Watch . Circa 1976 . New Old Stock .
Titus Tuning Fork watches were actually made with end of stock Omega parts . The case is an Omega f300 / megasonic - ref 198.0065 and the bracelet 1193/672 . The back cover and clasp are not marked as Omega but you can google the part numbers and see for yourself . Collectors have been aware for many years of these being Omega parts . 
High grade watch and cutting edge technology of its time. Based around Bullova's Accutron system of using a tuning fork that is vibrated by electro magnets and the vibrations are used as a power source for the watch mechanical parts. The movement is a Mosaba ESA 9162 which is also used by IWC, Omega, Eternal, Tasso, Zenith, Certina, Baume and Rado as well as others. Circa 1969 to 1976. 
A real classic and iconic 1970s Swiss watch from the tuning fork stable . Hear the classic Accutron hum when you put the watch to your ear and see the fantastic sweep action second hand. Seriously collectible. In excellent condition and all original . These are getting harder to get in nice condition and going up in value .

Movement - Swiss quartz Mosaba ESA 9162 tuning fork movement . 
Dial - Stunning blue dial with micro pyramid textured design , furnished with silver / white hour batons and hands and quick set date window at 3 . The dial looks good condition but has some tiny spots of  patina ( lifting of the blue ) around the 9 hour baton . This is common on some 1970s watches .
Crystal - Original acrylic crystal with Omega symbol in middle showing its history .
Case - All in stainless steel case with screw back cover .
Case Size - 42mm top to bottom 35mm side to side ( without crown ) and 11mm depth
Bracelet - Original and FULL length bracelet . No stretching , new condition . The screws for the removable links are NOT seized like these often are . Stainless steel from solid links . Fits max 7 3/4" wrist .
